This is my first job EVER!!!! I know it's sad, because I'm 20 years old. I have been sheltered my entire life. After working ONLY five hours the first day, I was exhausted.
I now have a new appreciation for my parents and the value of a dollar.
One thing is for sure, my kids will be working as soon as they turn 16.
16 is a little late don't you think? Don't they still need pre-teens for the coal mines? I've heard that builds character... or was it misery? Meh, same thing.
ReplyDeleteI don't care what job it is, my kids will be making their own money.
DeleteThey will be a part of the working class and will share the misery the whole world has for working.
This is pretty short. Not sure what it adds. I like the pic though!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the working world! I'm glad you like your job, hopefully you still do a few months from now :) I've been at mine since I was 16 (I work in bakery), and I agree it feels good to earn your own money.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new job! I find work to be a nice get away from thinking about school on the time, I hope you do too!
ReplyDeleteFinally got a job! congrats! I hope you enjoy your experience, but don't let your school work suffer!
